This is a re-post. I prematurely updated my earlier post to 'sale pending' status, figuring that one of the three early responders would take it. Strangely, after enthusiastic outpourings of interest, all three flaked out (and never even came by to look at it).

I bought this gorgeous stove a year ago, but ended up moving into a place that does not have gas service. The only issues with the stove are that it has a little wear and tear (due to its 50 years of use), and also the oven needs fixing (the range top and everything else works fine). I am not sure what the oven needs in order to get running again, it could be something as simple as a valve or thermostat (though, honestly, I suppose if you're not the do-it-yourself type, it's possible that you may have to spend a hundred plus dollars on calling a repair-person).

This Chambers stove is HEAVY. I'll help you load it on to your truck, but you'll need an extra person or two (and a hand-truck) to move it.

In good condition, these stoves can sell for thousands of dollars. Even if you were to devote some money to refurbishing this one, you'd still be getting a great deal.

Thanks!

this is in or around S. Austin
