From "The Man Who Dares" sales booklet, published by Wear-Ever circa 1915 to entice new salesmen to join the company (Wear-Ever products were not sold in stores - sold via salesmen only):
"344 Wear-Ever Salesmen Summer 1914 Averaged
$1.24
Profit Every Hour Worked
841 men averaged $1.01 profit for every hour worked.
The average profit of the 3,169 men who were in the field was $0.78 per hour.
And in addition $19,577.91 in Cash Bonuses was paid to Wear-Ever salesmen during 1914."
