Check out scans of the original Wear-Ever literature on getting the most from these pans. Most people think they're best used for making omelettes or cooking fish, but did you know they were also intended to bake cakes on the stovetop burner? This page also has 2 vintage Wear-Ever recipes, one for an "Omelet", and one for a prize-winning Spice Cake:
The Spice Cake is very tasty, but make sure that you follow Wear-Ever's instructions for cooking in their heavy aluminum pans: heat up the pan on high heat, then turn burner on VERY LOW heat for the remainder of the cooking time.
