LOL! Dutch is a sister-language to English. It's only pronounced differently. How's your Old English? Cuz that sounds sorta like Old Dutch. They're basically the same language even.

I didn't know either, I recently had this in "English from Old to New" class.

Phonetically (I hope you know the phonetic language) in Dutch it's /PeinIs/ while in English it's more like /Pi:nIs/.
Vagina is pronounced something like /VaXinae/ while English is more like /VәdzaIna/

I am an American, I'm from Minnesota so I'm a hick also. Don't worry it takes alot to offend me. I mean if you could have seen some of the thinks I've seen in all my many many years then you'd see how complete screw up I am. Althought now that I think of that it might not be a good thing.
