    All set for our big trip to Alaska...We leave out tomorrow...I am very excited...we've been saving for this cruise/land excursion for 5 years....almost missed it with the retina detachment back in April..not to mention the cat bite last month...and petheads platelet drop a few weeks ago...hummmm is someone trying to tell us something....be sure and pray for good travel conditions...see ya in two weeks..cmum

    See, mum and I have this weird, disturbing pact that reaches beyond the borders of time and space. An interdimensional perpetuity thing. Signed in blood. (Not ours, of course.)

    It obliges us to stay at least within 75,000 planetary miles, 2 galactic parsecs, or 5 parallel worlds of each other, or we'll have to pay a fine of 2 dollars every day we don't follow the contract.

    Why we signed this? A company spaceship, an unused soul, retirement package including trip to Maui, medical, dental, and of course fringe benefits. I won't say what exactly, but I'll have two words for you: "maker" and "ice"

    Lefty was dropped on his head as an infant...just in case you wondered...LOL..AND I'm back...had a wonderful time...saw many beautiful and amazing sights....I take awful pictures ..like the caribou's butt as he ran over the hill...my ten rolls of film cost me $78.99 ...some of them are really great and others are a joke...sigh!!!..but it's good to be home......there's no place like home....
