I didn't mean it like that I was just tryin
to be funny I guess I'll go back to comedy school.And yes I would please like some help on this subject I am still learning about.
I did not in anyway mean anybody HAD to do anything.I apologize if I offended anybody

Thank you melinda what it is I am trying to find out about is my family history.
My great great etc.... grandfather was knighted on the battlefield and given land and castle I mistakenly said he was a duke I did not understand he was given title of sir
or something dafunk said there was no such thing as dukes in Ireland or something.
I would like to know where I come from and about my history.

I actually found out that my family history dates back to the battle of hastings in 1066
I now know that I can research it on the bayeux tapestry to possibly get an idea of my family history I am not sure though.

WoW! you know alot already..and Irish History is extremely interesting...
i was just reading about some of it...
OK? i dont know about what exactly you can find about YOUR own History but there is ALOT on the General History of the Irish and Ireland....
