Yep, we get the extremes here. You can have minus 15 nights in late March and then a few weeks later in April it can be plus 25.

We think it's cold when it gets below zero. The coldest we'd get is -4C overnight and you should here us whinge about that. Soft eh!.

I lived in London from 88-94, during the dying days (no pun intended) of the IRA campaign. Was on a train one station up the line when a bomb went off in a litter bin at Victoria Station. My wife was in her office when a another bomb went off in a litter bin a couple of blocks away.
Londoners are a pretty tough lot.

Yikes that's scary Johnny. On a brighter note, did you enjoy your time in the U.K., (apart from the weather of course)?
