Up in the right hand corner of the main page is a box that allows you to access all past messages. The default is "Show topics from last day" but you can go back as far as you want.
So, were there 'Angels in the Outfield'?

Yep, the Angels look pretty good. But they have a tough trip. Not like the NL where the snakes in the grass appear to taken themselves out of the game by beating-up their own players.
Best Wishes,,,,,

The Minnesota Twins have just won to move on to the final round of the playoffs, and I say Yippee. I hope they make it to the World Series. Not that ordinarily I give a damn about the Twins, but this would shove it up Bud Selig's ass with broken glass.
Bud's plan before the season started was to make the Twins (and Expos) victims of contraction, in spite of the fact that his pitiful Brewers should be the first to go. (Oh, I forgot, he transfered control of the Brewers to his daughter. Of course, then, only a rank cynic would believe that there was still a conflict of interest.)

My husband is from Minnesota, so he is a diehard Twins fan. I, being a native of St. Louis, am a long-time Cardinals fan.
We got married in November of 1987--all wedding preparations had to be put on hold for a couple of weeks because of the Twins and Cardinals, lol.
A repeat series between the Cards and Twins would make a nice 15th anniversery present--especially if the Cards win this time

Big K, well I remember 87, and I must say that the Twins fans on that occasion disgraced our national passtime.
Indictment #1. They had the abysmal taste to take one of the classic rock-n-roll songs of all time, the wonderful "My Baby Does the Hanky Panky", and totally bastardize it ("My Baby Has a Homer Hanky"). Sweet Jesus!!
Now as I'm sure you recall, the Cards won all 3 games in St. Louis. Unfortunately, the Twins won all 4 of their home games. Why? you might ask.
Indictment #2. Because whenever a Cardinal came to bat, all those people were waving those hankies around, a sea of white moving objects, and who could see the ball under those conditions.

Even my husband will admit that the Cards should have won game seven...the umpires were all on crack that night...
