Where Mum has been

She has been painting her home and her pc is disconnected until she gets the carpet and tile laid down. There were a bunch of no-shows that were supposed to come out and help her. I am furious with these so-called friends. Not even a phone call to say they were not coming. Buncha dicks!

Yeah she was so depressed but we had several talks over the phone and I told her to look at it from the p.o.v. that she has just saved herself $2000 AND she did it all herself...but still. I would be frustrated too. Even the pastor of her church and his sons stood her up to do the knockdown in all the rooms and to replace a toilet, put in some ceiling fans, etccc.. then Michelle did not show up to help her paint. Thank goodness the flooring people were so nice. They moved some of the heavy items for her.

Well she is in better spirits now that she has finished the painting.

Now now don't kill the messenger. We were on the phone until 11:30 last night just talking about Lost and our upcoming vacation. She tried to talk me into coming down again to help rearrange but I have made three trips down since April and just could not do it again knowing she is coming up in a week and a half.

We will take lots of pictures of our trip and Mum can post them. Hows that?
