the big meteor shower is tonight..tusk and I are putting our lounge chairs on the porch...covering ourselves with deet...and hope to see a wonderful display ...I just hope we don't fall asleep

I tried to watch for a while last night, but really couldn't see much, I need to go a few miles outta town to get a better view [img]graemlins/smarty.gif[/img]

well three hours later, with a stiff neck and a million bug bites..we saw about a dozen lousy meteors..now that isn't a shower..more like a drip...LOL

I too had alot of city light to deal with but at 2 am I did manage to see 3 and was happy with that!!!
NOW I can only imagine how many Mum saw up on her mountain.
