Reward raised to $10,000 in case of missing Hamilton man

The mother of a missing Hamilton man pleaded yesterday for help to find her son, William (Billy) Mason, who disappeared back in February 2006

"This ordeal has been extremely hard on our family," Donna Dixon said at a morning press conference at police headquarters.

"If anyone knows anything about Billy's disappearance, I beg you, please, come forward."

The police services board has approved a reward of up to $10,000 for information on Mason's whereabouts. Foul play has not been ruled out in

Mason's disappearance. He and was last seen Feb 22, 2006 in the area of 917 Main Street East

Mason is 5-foot-9 and weighs 125 pounds. He has a thin build, shaved brown hair, a goatee and brown eyes. He also has a small scar on the centre of his forehead and a large scar on his right elbow; tattoos include a panther on his right calf and another tattoo of a dragon on his upper back.
