All right...I've been thinking long and hard about something. And I would really like to know your opinion.
Here are the facts.
Omanga has scanlated AS up to the end of Book 7, while I will be releasing the entire Book 5 soon. They're pretty far ahead. ^^ (Their scanlations are in zip format and take quite long to download on a 56k though)
Well, I've gotten a lot of emails which want me to focus more on other things like Count Cain and Yami no Matsuei, and leave AS to Omanga. I've said no before, but now I'm having second thoughts.
I just want to know...
If I discontinued sakura-crisis.net's scanlations of AS, and leave it to Omanga, I will take up Yami no Matsuei with the same amount of time I've been spending on AS. That pretty much means one Yami chapter a week. For those of you who don't know much about it, YnM has a similar layout to Count Cain--mystery, must solve mystery, someone always dies, mystery solved!, etc. etc. The plot takes big turns in later books though.
Well...what do you think about that? Should I keep up with AS or just say Bye-bye to it? (there will of course be new Kaori Yuki works to replace it and keep up our "Kaori Yuki Reputation". ^^** ) Will you still love us as much without AS? ^____^****
Please respond to this or email me your ideas! This will really help to make sakura-crisis.net the way YOU would like it to be!
Thanks!

I think you should discontinue Angel Sanctuary. Omanga is so far ahead, and it would be great if you focussed on Yami no Matseui instead. It's such a great manga.

I agree. Aku tenshi are also doing YNM but they're v. slow and havent touched it for ages. Personally, I'm in favour of more Cain. Or any YK manga, for that matter, but YNM's cool too.

Yeah, it probably would be best to stop. OManga updates pretty frequently and with a lot of manga. And, besides, I could always use more Yami no Matsuei!!! >D

hi. this's my first time posting so hope i'm doing this right.
i really like yami no matsuei but it's so simple to read the translations from the theris.net site and the manga is really available everywhere. i would encourage people buying it rather than expecting the scanlations.
i would really like to see more kaori yuki and maybe some other more obscure things that are hard to find. or introduce manga that aren't really popular but should be.
i dunno.
anyway. love this site. (^_^)

First of all, I LOOOOOVE AS. Please don't discontinue your scanlations, I love them. They're excellent scanlations. And you've already gone so far on AS. I appreciate the way you post the scanlations up instead of having to download it. I use a 56K, so your scanlations make my life that much easier. Maybe... you could just start at volume 8... 10... I dunno... collaborate with Omanga?
-Just a few thoughts... ^___^

Yes, I agree with everyone else. Although I love AS very much, I could let it go for other projects like YnM- especailly is AS is already being done by another group.

Wow, i just registered to post my thinkings.
I think it won't be really usefull to continue AS, since it's well done by other groups. Don't missunderstand me, i like this manga, but if you chosed to continue YNM, it would be a great day for me. I love this manga, and in france it's really hard to find (yep, i'm french ^_^). So i'd really be happy if you translated it.
But if never you want to continue AS, i can offer some translations from french, 'cause we have this manga (like a lot of others..). Just ask and it's no problem.
Blueshaft.
PS : sorry for my english, it's kinda late

Maybe if you talk nicely with Omanga and offer some translations they'll give you permission to resize and host their release on your site.
I don't know, just a thought. I myself prefer zip files (and I'm a 56K modem user too).
And... I'd love to see more Yami no Matsuei. And Count Cain. But everyone that picks up YnM seems to abandon it soon after or release very, very slowly, so regular releases would be lovely.
