My friends were complaining the day after thanksgiving that they were already tired of turkey leftovers....But I love the big ol' bird myself. I am hoping to try to cook one myself for Christmas

Only in Oklahoma in the middle of the city mere yards from the elementary school, can you look out into your neighbors yard and see an 8 point buck hanging from the roof waiting to be skinned...Tyler about had a heartache just trying to explain that there was a dead deer in the neighbors yard and I of course could not imagine he knew what he was talking about.

Rog, he was a bit upset and of course I had to explain why they had a deer in the first place but thankfully They hadn't started cutting and I kept him from seeing that part and Mum I do not know about butchers but I get the feeling doing it themselves was part of the experience???
