He is notorious for his "gun play" no doubt. Even John Lennon said, in interviews, that Spector had terrorized the studio with a gun during the Rock N Roll Sessions. He ran off with the master tapes at one point and would call John and taunt him, whispering "I've got the John Dean tapes" at the height of the Watergate scandal.
Of coarse Ronnie has spoken of her crazy marriage to him a lot over the years too!
The worst evidence against him, they say, is the chauffer who say's after the gunshot, Spector came out of the house with the gun in his hand, saying "I think I just killed someone." The defense claims the guy does not understand English well and misunderstood what Spector actually said.
The gun was found on the floor by her foot, btw.
The best evidence of Spector's innocence, is that there was no (zero) gun residue on him, although it was all over the victim!
I wish I could watch this trial, gavel to gavel!

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">In an exclusive interview with INSIDE EDITION, Phil Spector's son, Louis, spoke about the bizarre world that he says his father ruled by terror.
"There's two personalities to my father," he said. "There's Harvey Phil Spector, the name he was born with, and then there's a persona, Phil Spector, the man he became."
Louis Spector was just six years old when he and his biological twin brother Gary were adopted and went to live in the Beverly Hills mansion owned by his father.
But just six months later, Spector's wife, the singer Ronnie Spector of the Ronnettes, walked out on him.
"We were Christmas gifts, per se. We were adopted into the family with the intention that we would keep her prolonged into the family. We were meant to be shackles for Ronnie, but it didn't work," Louis said.
Louis said the house became more like a prison that he shared with Gary and his other brother Dante, the natural son of Phil and Ronnie.
He claims the boys weren't even allowed to talk to each other and they were locked into their rooms at night and would try to talk to each other through an air conditioning vent.
From time to time, he says his father would bring a different woman home and the boys were allowed to spend some time with her.
Prosecutors say Phil Spector had a pattern of threatening women with guns, and testimony by four former girlfriends of how he terrorized them brought back painful memories for Louis.
"He always carried a double holster, guns on both sides," he said. "And he always wore his shades, and if he wanted to make a threat, all he had to do is lean over, tilt his shades a little bit and reveal his holsters and say something like: 'Now you don't want to be doing that again.'"
Louis says his father kicked him out of the house when he was just 19. He says curiosity drew him to his father's murder trial. It was the first time they had seen each other in seven years.
"I am a stranger in his eyes as he is in my eyes," he said.

George Michael, who has pleaded guilty to driving while unfit, had several drugs in his system when he was arrested, a court heard Wednesday.
Tests showed the 43-year-old singer had taken a therapeutic quantity of an antidepressant as well as gamma-hydroxybutyrate, or GHB, Prosecutor Andrew Torrington told Brent Magistrates' Court in London.
GHB is often called the "date-rape drug" because it leaves people groggy and powerless.
Michael, who wasn't in court Wednesday, pleaded guilty May 8 to driving while unfit due to drugs. He said his condition was caused by "tiredness and prescribed drugs."
The former Wham! singer, whose real name is George Panayiotou, was arrested in the early hours of Oct. 2 after police responded to complaints that a car was blocking an intersection in North London. Police said Michael was found slumped over the wheel of the car.
His lawyer, Michael Grieve, told the court a prescription sleeping drug was the most likely explanation for Michael's condition.
Michael said in a TV interview earlier this month that he is addicted to prescription drugs and believes the world would be a better place if more people smoked marijuana.
He blamed his erratic behavior to an attention-seeking and "self-destructive" impulse brought on by the death of his mother a decade ago.
The case was adjourned until June 8 for sentencing, the day before Michael performs at Wembley Stadium as part of his European tour.
