Yesterday was above freezing most of the day, with a continual rain, about 3:00 it turned to sleet followed shortly by snow, the temps fell fast as the wind picked up, causing a whiteout right outside the doors...

Today is real cold (bout 20), but the sun is shining bright and yesterdays snow is nearly blinding today. I think the sun will melt some of this stuff off the main roads, hopefully it won't refreeze tonight.

Last night we had gusting winds and the grey clouds dumped beaucoup rain onto us. The creeks are full and the muddy water is running fast (If it wasn't so cold, I'd try tubing it...Naw!)

My apartment sounded like the roof was gonna tear off, but then when I awoke this morning, the skys are still grey but it don't seem to bad.

I hope you are having a great day where ever you may be

The Line of thunderstorms that headed our way yesterday split as they crossed the River and we got real lucky and it went North & South of us.

Our big problem Yesterday (and today) was the wind. It is gusting today 40+ mph, but the sun is out so maybe it will dry us out before the next rains head this way
