We put gas in the car yesterday and it was $2.69 a gallon, This morning they were changing the signs to $2.76
It is really putting a strain on us, I was wondering how high are the gas prices in your area?

Prices just keep going up. Three days in a row last week I had to work at my primary office (140 miles roundtrip). It was $2.75 on Monday, $2.85 on Tuesday and $2.95 on Wednesday. I go there again tomorrow. Can't wait to see what it's at now. Around the homestead its $2.91 today. The Sportster been getting a real workout this year. In two weeks I put almost 700 miles on it compared to it's usual 100 miles per week. But since its been getting 58 miles a gallon, I can't complain.

I guess I shouldn't complain too much. Our little Gas station that we normally use is at $2.79, while the Stations out by the interstate are $2.86.
If it gets too much higher, we may be doing some walking. Lucky for us, Julies job is walking distance, and we are just a couple blocks from the Super Wal-mart.

My Durango/w Hemi is always thirsty...wouldn't you know we'd buy that thing and two months later the price hiking started...that was two years ago....can't just throw it out...can buy a lot of gas for what a new car would cost. Sigh...

Wish we would have put in a few gallons last night, because this morning Speedo's went up to $2.85 per gallon. I don't know how bad it is out by the interstate, but I'm sure them greedy ******** raised thier prices too!
