Damn!!! Yesterday gas price was $2.76 at Speedo's (our local outta the way station), Today our car was so low I had to put in $10 to get the brat to school & Julie to work, And it is now $2.89. Out by the Interstate it is as high as $2.96.
My $10 dollars only gave me 3.4 gallons of gas...Damn!!!

If it goes much over $3, we will have to park the car. I don't know what people are gonna do. It is a screwed up cycle

I remember when I was about 5 or 6 (about '62 -'63), The Local stations would have "Gas Wars". I remember once that gas got down to 14c a gallon, and I rode in the back of the pickup with about 4 5-gallon gas cans, to be filled up. I think gas was normally about 24c a gallon then.
In High school (71-75) on Friday Nights and Saturday Afternoons, The thing to do was park n cruise. I could put in $3 and be set for the weekend...

Gas dropped 2c to $2.87 per/gallon. I guess a penny here & a penny there makes a big difference in the profits of the oil companys.
