I hate to go fishing, but I love to eat fresh fish, & Catfish is about my favorite. Glad to hear that you guys had some quality time together.

I didn't get home until late last night (Don't ask), and I didn't feel like cooking so I took a couple pieces of Deli Honey Roasted Ham and cut them into cracker sized bites, sliced some mild colby cheese and opened a package of Town house crackers, and ate that as I watched the News. it was a lobster roll..looked to be made of a hint of lobster, rice, some green stuff, and wrapped in black shit I just couldn't make myself eat. I think it was seaweed..ick!! I did drown it in some soy sauce..and that wasabi stuff is hot as heck...

Well, what kind did you have??? The first time I had it my ex SIL made it and used tofu and the seaweed wrap was YuK...then Randy took me to Fuji and had me try rolls made fresh. I was surprised by the difference PLUS the wasabi is amazing!!!

Yeah the black shit was seaweed...truly some is far better than others AND they do make rolls that omit the seaweed and just have a rice wrap sometimes with caviar....I love wasabi but got to use it sparingly!!!

well..not to make ya'll drool or anything..but we had a big family gathering at our house today ..and I had my butcher cut a 6 pound California chuck that was absolutely a work of art...that hunk of meat turned out to be the best pot roast I've ever cooked...add mashed potatoes & gravy, fresh green beans, ham, sweet potato casserole W/pecans, tossed salad, rutabaga, collards, and top it off with carrot cake, strawberry short cake, blackberry wine cake, custard pie and ice cream..and you have a great Sunday meal..oh yes cornbread and yeast rolls..ummmmm
