    Our neighbors just got back from South Carolina today with about 2000.00 worth of some awesome fireworks...I mean heavy duty stuff..good thing they are related to the local law guys LOL...cuz they are soooo illegal..LOL..gonna be noisy around here tonight

    I missed the fireworks here completely. I waited out on my front porch but alas they had set them off the night before. Ah well...the fireflies were beautiful though

    Pez, I'm so sorry you missed the fireworks, But a nice night to sit on the porch with a glass of chilled wine and let nature entertain you with a lightning bug ballet.

    Julie & I got lucky on the 4th. We were not going to the Park, because of the heat & traffic. But we went to the laundrymatte instead. As we loaded the car and started to leave, we had a perfect view of the firework display (from about 2 miles away. So we sat in the air conditioned car and watched them in comfort.
