And then let me know if you like Marie-Mai's Mentir. It seems like you might, but who knows. (I can tell you what the song means, if you really care)

Mentir means "To lie"
I like some of the lines:
Jamais arr?ter de mentir
"Never to stop of to lie," which I would figuratively translate as "Never going to stop lying"
Tortur?s par l'ennui,
"Tortured by ennui"
Qui brisera enfin le masque
"Who wears the final mask"
Etc.
So, I like the song musically, and I think its strong lyrically as well.
The Francophne Top 40, which this song aws recently on (still on? Don't know) is much more diverse than American top 40. There's dance/techno, rap, R&B, rock, pop, ballads, etc all wrapped up into one.

Wow! That was top 40! I would never guess the ears of the masses would enjoy it. At least not here. That's really quite interesting that they're a bit more diverse in taste there.

Another song recently on the Francophone Top 40 is Le Monde Est Materiel by Mathieu Gaudet. That's you kind of music. (It means The World is Material, which is different than The World is Materialistic) There's only a live video on the Net of it, and it's not that great.
