I know!!! I'm just waiting for confirmation that my 'found money' is coming. Once they approve that $600 check for me, I'll be happy to spend some loot to 'help' the government. Go 360!

I don't know about that game. I played the demo from XBox Live and it was so so at best. Maybe it was just the demo though.

    Early thoughts:

New keywords are interesting, liked doublecast and evolve. I am playing every immediate creature I currently have in my small collection, because they are really good, imho.

I like the new terrain type in theory, but I haven't gotten to one of those maps yet.

The base creatures in the original were 20/30 no ability crappy creatures, which really sucked. The base creatures in this game are some 30/40 ogres - much better, and they allow a newer deck to hold its own better against more developed decks in multiplayer, as well as being stronger cards in general. All of the 20/30s are new and have interesting abilities.

No engrish so far, the cards are much more cleanly worded.

It's fun seeeing new cards and old cards alike. So far, i;d say the split is around 2/3rds old, 1/3rd new, thus far at elast.

I wonder if most or all of the old card are in this game, or if they just kept some.

You have a standing invitation to come play CS anytime, but I only have the one controller, so we have to get another, borrow another, etc.

Unless you got am XBox360 recently....

Well, I said I have to wait until Monday for mine to arrive I have an extra controller coming too! I should be on live Monday evening But, I'll probably be playing Bioshock at first because I've been dying for it....

You know, I think Bioshock is almost more of a FPA. First person adventure. It feels a bit more like Metroid Prime than your average FPS.

    Day Two thoughts

    *SPOILER*

I was totally surprised to find duo-color creatures in the game! Cool change!

The game still has the element alignment, but it also has somethign different. In addition to the four elements and what they are opposed to (Red hates Blue, Green hates Yellow), there are allies.

Blue and Yellow are allies as are red and green.

What does that mean? Instead four four weapons like in the previous game, one a slayer for each creature type, there are just two cards, and each has a slayer for two creatrues types, but not the target - for the holder. There are spells that hurt red and green creatures, but not the others, and so forth.

There are cretaures that help their color and their ally, but not the other two, and I like this subtle change.

I was totally suprirsed and a bit pissed off when the computer played a spell called Invasion and prompty attacked my built up land with a cretaure from their hand from the other side of the map. Took out my land!
