Goodluck to all those going to the prerelease. I want reports because I won't be able to go to one this time!

    Re: M11

Did we ever look at M11 cards for the Essentials?

Linvala seems decent. Shuts off opposing dorks.

Fauna Shaman is solid. More fragile than the enchantment. Doesn't beg for immediate inclusion.

    Frost Titan.... sure does suck.

I think Garruk's Packleader is subtly good. Most people aren't going to notice you drawing a card off it every time you cast a creature. Probably not Essentials good, but it looks mighty fine if you're on a budget.

Leyline of Anticipation. Orrery is broken. Every time I play it I am reminded of this fact. A second one that can be played free once in a blue moon, might not be a bad idea.

Primeval Titan is without a doubt the winner in this set. A space needs to be made.

Sun Titan is solid. I wouldn't mind trying to find a spot, but wouldn't be overly upset if I couldn't.

    That's it.

Find a spot for PT, consider doing so for Sun Titan and Leyline.

Didn't you already decry that as highly over-hyped? I assume there was also an implication that it wasn't good enough for inclusion in the Essentials.

Do we run Time Spiral? I think it's arguably better than Memory Jar and certainly better than Magus of the Jar.

Yes to Time Spiral. Better than Magus? 5 mana slowness... okay. Fair enough. I'm willing to make such a switch.
