The 3.4" pulley will make about 10 psi on a stock crank-pullied D16Z6.

Actually never mind. The 3.4" pulley is 5-rib (b-series) and it doesn't fit. I just tried to put it on and it hit my fender wall.

Sigh... Payment sent .

Yeah, I couldn't believe it when it didn't fit. I was finally going to finish the install today - just drop in the blower and hook up the lines. It blows my mind how tight the tolerances are with that charger.

Just keep me updated. I need that pulley ASAP! I'm tired of riding a stupid motorcycle to and from work .

P.S. about the 3.4" pulley:
thanks for the info, 10lbs is too much for me.
i want 9lbs at the most. 8-9 would be fine either way, 8 would be nice for peace of mind, but alil extra pull from 9 would be cool
10 is scary though, and too close to the SC being out of it's efficiency range.

About my FS pulley:
heehee,
I knew you'd be back!

yeah the guys at JR said that they tried as hard
as they could to get a 4rib working on the 96+ but it just wouldnt fit, so they had to go with 3rib,

no way a 5rib is gonna fit.

and yes I still have it.
paypal me at [email protected]

i'll send it out tomorrow

Funny thing is I was just going to start throwing it up on some classifieds again. I let it sit as I was busy just getting my SC working.

Tad,

I lied. The 3.4" blower pulley will give you 8-9 psi... I said 10 psi above, however, I was confused as to which pulley was the stock size for a D16Z6 JRSC kit. Since the stock kit comes with a 3.8" blower pulley, the 3.4" pulley would add approximately 2 psi more boost.

I hope that helps... and by the way, I believe I have a 3.4" pulley on the shelf... give me a call at the shop.
