u sure its not just too loose?
This seems to happen when it's damp/wet outside. When the car is just idling there's a noise which I think is coming from the crank/pulley but it also could be from the altenator pulley too (I can't really tell). It's the type of noise which sounds like there's no lube or the belt is rubbing on something.
Mind you it only happens when it's damp/wet outside. And the noise increases or decreases with every rev of the engine.
Anyone know what this problem is and how I can fix it?
I'll try and get a sound clip of it.
Thanks

mine does that too on rainy days. i figured due to my torn belts getting loose and water combining to create slip.
... or a tensioner pulley bearing making the noise !!!
is that noise associated with boost loss?

The mechanic said the AC belt was a tad loose so he tightened it up a bit. The noise went away at that time but the next morning when I went to start up the car, it was back. Not as bad tho and lasted for only a few minutes.
If it is a tensioner pulley bearing making the noise, how can this be fixed?
Forgot to mention that the SC has been removed. So basically it's stock.
