So i uninstalled my JRSC after 2 years of no problems, and was putting on my stock intake manifold. I thought I finally had EVERYTHING done and finished as this car has been sitting in my garage for the past half a year. I get everything together and all I needed to do was put in the fluids, so I put in the oil....no leaks. Whew...
Then i filled it up with coolant, and as im filling it up I was looking under my car to make sure there were no leaks. Everything was going great until the very end when i was just about full and then I start leaking out coolant out of the back of my engine. I thought "oh great, there must be a loose hose or something i forgot...

Then I look and there's coolant just spewing out of the inside of the throttle body!
I open the throttle body and it just spews out of there.

Looks like its leaking somewhere inside the manifold. Now where are there possible spots that it could be leaking from, and what to target?

Also, is there a way to drain this out of my engine in case some of that went into the head?

also, does anyone have one of those "exploded" views used in a Helms manual of the intake manifold & throttle body and all coolant lines running to it?

i think i figured it out. There's a 3/8" looking fitting sticking out from underneath the IM. I think its the hose that used to be conneted to the little metal pipe that goes up to the valve cover breather hose. I had a coolant line running to that on accident and it was spitting coolant into the IM.

I still would like a picture of one of those service manual views of all the coolant lines by the IM tho just in case i missed something else and to make sure everything else is correct.

so yeah, it looks like im talking to myself alone on this board...

i fixed the coolant thing, i have the car starting up and idling, but its a roving idle and it dies if i gas it more than 1/4 throttle. Is this indicative of a vacuum leak?
