ive noticed some ppl on here are cutting excellent times with there launching.
anyone have some tips for launching?
i usually just sit at 3,000 and 3/4 throttle till i catch then i full throttle it. i get no wheel hop and more traction that way for me, but im still cutting horrible 60' times. average 2.4-2.6
there are many things to consider i guess, like the fact my motor mounts are worn out, and i had a partially broken axle, since then ive replaced almost all my bolt on parts on the motor except the mounts.

Get the stickiest tires you can afford (R compound rubber) and then play with the tire psi and launch RPM until you are as close to 2.1 as possible. A limited slip may take another tenth off your time. Good luck!
