the 0W30 is good for winter time as it will pump/flow easier then anything above that rating but it is not good to run it when it is hot becuase with the oil being so thin, you will not have as much protection at the higher heats (TX aint no joke either). I usually run 0w30 in the winter because I don't drive my car but a few hundred miles if that during the winter months and if I am driving it, it's not hard. I've been using the 0-30 since it came out. Change every 4K - no probs either. Read somewhere that the thinner oils give horsepower. Gotta go look it up tonight.
