Updating underpinnings?

Got a wild hair recently....I'm sure someone out there has put a '67-'72 Sub body on an '88 or newer GM 4WD chassis. Any great difficulties in doing this? I'm thinking steering, auto trans linkage and firewall holes will be problems. Thanks guys.

I had that thought once but never found any body that had any info. IF you are more brave than I am you should just go for it. Work out the problems as you run in to them.
