Alright man, I'm only 15 too. I get my learners in one week exactly, yup next tuesday. Freakin VA government decided to move it up to 15 and six months, and you can't get your liscense til 16 and 3 months, how much of a dif. is that going to make? welcome to the board, I'm glad to see I'm no longer the youngest one here.

I think the reason that young people are attracted to the 4Gs is they are cheap as hell and they can afford them, plus they have the best quality for the money and despite their age.
As long as you buy a car that was well taken care of you will be fine.
I got mine and a lot of the electrics failed (Alternator, Spark Plugs, Starter, etc...) but I replaced those and it is good times now.

Hehe... Well I got a job at a local grocerry store, it doesn't pay alot, it's like $5.75 an hour but it's enough to live off of. I just save it up til I get enough to buy what I want then I get it and go broke for a while then I save up some more. It's really hard while school's in. I buy most of my stuff during the school year and then put it on over the summer when I have free time. IAIA, you're probably right about why we get these, cause they are cheap as hell, and mine runs perfect w/ 157,00 miles on it, no smoke or anything. Does need a new clutch though.
