DX and Si CAI have different shapes to them. You could fit a si intake on your DX but it probably wont fit as well.

I used my iceman on my dx. All I did was buy a longer drain coupling from home depot and used that to connect to that black box on top of the throttle body

I think that the LX and DX are close enough that it shouldent make a diffrance, someone corect me if I'm wrong. I think that the diffrances are in option packedges, not power plant.

DX/LX use the d15b2
SI/EX use the d16a6
Most intakes are made for the d16a6 but will also fit on the d15 with some minor tweaking. I know because I have done it.

I just took the little black cover off of my Dpi. I found that intake makes no difference. Cold air, hot air, whatever. I would not recommend this to any one who wants any kind of reliability out of their civic. The 1" throttlebody is very restrictive. and having two throttle plates cut the intake down to such a small capacity. Don't waste your money.

4g4me......sorry bud but they do work just not on a dx, my 2000 dx had a cold air and it worked very well. the 4gen will not work for sh$@. it might give you up a 1hp or 2.
but intakes do work.

It won't work. I have a ractive short ram for an Si and it won't fit my dx. It sits too high and the hood won't close.
