Q: what engine/ecu harness will fit my car???

currently, im rebuilding a 90 CIVIC DX,
damn close to my daily driver.....
ok question is I need a completly new wiring harness because all three ECU plugs were CUT....I don't know why....
does anyone know if a "88 civic dx (auto) will fit, does it matter even if it is a STD model????......

how much work does this involve...does everything in the car have to be changed???

hmm..you'll probably need to stick with 90-91. i know the gauge clusters, tail lights, etc. are different. if you are planning to change the ENTIRE harness, that's a lot of work man..the harness goes everywhere in the car.

I Know its alot of work, but what is the easier way of doing this???

all three ecu plugs were completly cut off at the ecu connection, but also both injector plugs, tps, and distributor plug........

is there a seperate -sub harness that connects to these....I would hate to re-connect EVERYTHING!!!!!
