So does anyone know for sure if my Std is already wired for a tach, andone done this? If not, how much work is it to wire up an Si Cluster

it's plug and play for a Si cluster to your specific year. meaning if you have a 88/89, you gotta use a 88/89 Si cluster. 90/91..same thing...90/91 Si cluster. i just put a 91 Si cluster w/tach in my 90 dx. it was plug and play. all you gotta do is make sure it's 88/89 or 90/91. note: that steering wheel is HUGE...what is, like 18" or something? lol

gotatight92si: actually the steering wheel is very small, slightly smaller than factory i think...I guess it just looks big in the picture.

is there any way to swap si gauges in a 1990 dx? is it plug and play? and i love the whell did you sell it yet?

ok, here's a way to tell if your cluster is wired for a tach. take the hood thing off of the gauge cluster (in my car it's two screws under the front and two screws next to the windshield. look at the twelve pin connector on the left. if there is a blue wire in the first or second pin, depending on if your car is a 88-89 or a 90-91, that is the tach wire.
