jeez 4k is a tad steep for 180k miles. i can maybe see that if the sol was an ever so rare VTEC model but eh...
If anyone is lookin for a Del Sol I saw one for sale at a small car lot in Puyallup.
It's a red '94 Si 5 speed. Has 180k miles and looked completely stock other than aftermarket rims. Only flaw I saw was a small dent in the passenger side rear quarter panel that goes slightly into the passenger door.
They are asking $4,495 but he said they might be able to go as low as $4,000.
I took pics on my phone but they haven't transfered to my email yet. When they arrive I'll try and post them.
Here's a few pics...
Just leave me a PM if you want the name and number of the place.

I wasn't too impressed with the price for the high miles either. He probably figures someone out there will pay that much. But if someone has been looking for a Sol and can't find one I'm sure they would jump at just about any price. I probably would have paid more for mine even if it wasn't worth the price just so I could finally have one.
i completely here ya on that one! I was in a hurry to get mine not only because god damn it, it was my dream car at the time...but it was a dream to roll through prom with my dream car. which i had accomplished...but payed a fair price. 3.8k for a 84 si w/ 96k miles. which was what the car was worth.
I have a '97 del Sol Si with 75k miles on it. It has a nice aftermarket Alpine stereo and extensive suspension mods, a short-throw shifter, lightweight aftermarket wheels and sticky dunlop tires; it handles great.
I'm the second owner; bought it with ~24k miles in 1998. I've been babying this car for over 8 years. I'm willing to sell mine for around 6k, so I think this dealer has lost touch with reality.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Wow...that is a friggin steal right there. Anymore info on it? i might be able to find someone interested. e-mail me everything you about the car to and list the subject as del sol so i dont just mistake it for junk!Originally posted by davidk_528:

You're still trying to get your girlfriend to buy a Sol eh, Playboi? Speaking of which, what happened to the one in Oregon? I'll have to dig it up.
Been quite for a while as I've been busy and forgot my password after clearing the cookies. But I'm back on now so hide the sheep!
