    Hey guys i am desperately trying to get my Del Sol painted but I am fairly low on money...
    Does anyone know of good shops that paint for cheap?

    i just got my car painted, mine was red, but now its blackberry(purple) and silver. it only cost me like around 1800 i got it painted at unity motors II in tacoma, right behind the casinos near lakewood 15 movie theater.

    God i just wish it was cheaper! Like around $1000 or something.

    Mine is red now, it has some faded parts and some little cracks on the hood.

    I want to get it painted black but i dont have the $$$! [img]mad.gif[/img]

    yea but the only way you can get a good paint job from maaco is if you prep your own car for the paint job. lol but it is cheap=P

    from my understanding, maaco can do a good job depending on what kind of package deal you purchase through them. Anything under $1000 is going to be quick, sloppy, and enough to get the job done. Like any body shop, the nicer you want the finish depends on how much you want to pay. To the OP, My sol was originally red and now black. I painted it myself at school and i would highly recommend that you just spray it red again unless you have the motivation to paint the door jams and engine bay. My jams are done in black but its still red in the engine bay unfortunately.
