Busted trans. That says it. Not sure what exactly is the problem, but something doesn't sound right. Hope it's my Diff, cuz it's guaranteed for life. But if it's gears, bummer. I'll keep an update.

Damage report: Counter shaft bearing exploded. That chewed up the case, damaged the counter shaft, CS shift fork, reverse idle gear, and final gear. I still hope my diff is perfect. It's not pretty, so my sol is sitting for a long time.
A new transmission is in my future. I would like to regear 5th, but I have to look for a used transmission first.
Unless I find a transmission for a steal, other than stealing one. No go es car go.
