    Hey all,

I want to ad Dual Exhaust to my Sol (one pipe on either side, not next to eachother). Does anyone have any ideas of where to buy this type of set-up? Or any recomendations on a local exhaust shop? I want the sound to be throaty and kinda deep (not tiny and whiny like a lot of the 'rice rocket' cars have). I want a true sports car sound. Any ideas or suggestions would be great!

    Thanx!

the only thing that comes to mind is using this muffler http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...ne=main&id=407 and then having a shop make 2 custom pipes for the ends. You can also look into different kinds of exhuast tips. Funny thing is that they get pretty pricey for those things.

I had originally thought about going this route way back in the day but funny how things change. As far as an off the shelf provider, i dont know of any and prolly wouldn't reccomend any anyways.

Another thing you want to remember is when you split the pipes you'll want to half the pipe size so you don't lose all your bottom end. So the biggest pipe size after the split would be 1 1/4 inch in size max.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">You are correct, but who drives at/near redline at all times to get the gains from it, you can't.
By the way, torque is what gets you first moving from a stop, then the hp takes over to keep you moving.
