It was 1810, a young Cheyenne chief was a part of the ceremony of the Renewal of the Sacret Arrows that uses sacret arrows which empower the men of the tribe. Four days the young chief was sitting and praying, and then his prayers were answered. The voice of the Wise One Above sounded in his mind. He would be empowered with an unbreakable spirit, and his body with speed and accuracy. From that moment he would call himself Hevovetaso (Whirlwind).

Hevovetaso would be the protector of his tribe, indeed he managed to ward off soldiers and bandits alike. Until he was ambushed and killed. That day his body died. But his spirit was made invinceble.

Years later another young native american by the name of John Eagle-Eye went to his grandfather with strange headaches. He saw visions of battles he was never in, heard voices he had never heard. together with the old shaman they learned that he had bonded with the spirit of his ancestor to again protect the weak and innocent. Cheveyo (Spirit Warrior) was born..!
