Right when you think they can't get worse, they just do. America's damned puritans, soccer moms and scientologists managed to get the stupid republican government to ban all hentai, described as "general depictions of sexual acts in digital or printed form" on the basis that the characters' ages cannot be determined, and therefore they are to be supposed to be underage. Think of the children! Stupid soccer moms, this is unbelievable. Get out while you can, America is going the way of China.

Expect to see American-based, hosted or mirrored sites closing down, and a huge hit for the hentai community, as now you'll have to look for European or Japanese sites, and pray that they come in a language you understand. I've heard rumours in Slashdot that The Pirate Bay along with the Free Software Foundation are thinking of setting a free, rouge hentai host (a service that hosts hentai sites freely) located in Antigua and Barbuda, with local aid from SlySoft, a company which operates in a similar way to bypass America's corporate dictatorship.

Wha?! I'm not really a hentai person but seriously! If americans want to be so pure they should sweep around their own houses first, if you know what I mean. Banning hentai is so typical of parents, if they can't handle something, they group up and make it law. It always happens.

Also, hentai is part of the japanese culture, like mangas and animes. They should make it 18 and over, not something like this. Jeez...

You get turned on at what you find hot, and what you find hot is arbitrary, cultural and acquired. For example, in ancient times the ideal of beauty in Europe was not like today's anofag paradise, but they liked more chubby, healthier looking women. Today, many people get used to finding manga-style representations of women sexy and arousing. Personally, I find manga style drawings of women very sexy, while I find more realistic depictions such as those found in classic European art not sexy at all. And an advantage of drawings is that they can get much wilder than regular porn, and no actress ever says "no".
