Damn, I hadn't seen this thread... I did it when looking for the old one.

Anyways, I started Grandia I. The game looks pretty fun, PSX graphics are more than bearable with ePSXe, combats look messy and characters seem to have Parkinson's Disease, but they are almost as fun as Grandia II's, as the essence of the combat system is there. Plus it has the look & feel of Grandia II, which is a *VERY* good thing. And I no longer care for characters looking kiddie, I've discovered they aren't that kiddie, dialogues are fun, and you told me they'll grow up. Only thing I don't like about it is the limited item storage.

I'm right after Justin gets his pass to the New Continent, where they go back to Parm and Justin tells Sue he's going to go alone. I ran out of time at that scene so I don't know what's next, and please don't spoil me.

But damn, Justin is an idiot, I would NEVER leave a friend behind, poor Sue, I feel so sorry for her. After all, Justin would never have been more than a mischievous kid stuck in Parm if it weren't for her. For adventuring, well, as they say, the more the merrier.

Please don't even give me a clue on what might happen later ("Yeah, you won't have her until much later in the game" / "Maybe Sue finds her way to Elencia too" / etc.) as I haven't seen it and I don't want to get spoiled.

IRT Xellos (first post of the thread): FFX is pretty decent, I think you'll like it. Suikoden 3 looks great but it's not out in Europe yet so I don't have it, I'll buy it as soon as I can. Kingdom Hearts might be good, but the Disney kiddie characters refrain me from playing, I'd feel uncomfortable with it (I don't especially dislike kiddie stuff, but this looks too kiddie for me).
Oh and let's get a little serious now, this is very important: save your money to buy Xenosaga. You got the PS2 for this game! LOL, I can't wait for it [img]biggrin.gif[/img] .

IRT Wiseman: I know what you mean about the game being kiddy, I try hard to ignore Donald and Goofie. I can deal with it though cause there are plenty of little secrets and the combat is pretty fun.

I've gotten pretty far into Xenogears, I played it all day since I was sick. I've gotten up to the part where you fight Alpha Weltall on the Elridge. I've tried a bunch of times but I still can't beat him, I'm gonna go back to an earlier save so I can get some speed shoes. Did you ever beat it Wiseman or Melfice?

Oh and I just met Feena, she's a hottie and she seems to be a very cool person; the only problem is that her voice doesn't suit her, she looks years younger than her voice sounds. BTW, how old are Justin, Feena and Sue?

Yes, I've read so in a website yesterday. But I think they look a little older, Feena looks at least 16, Justin 14, Sue 10 or 11.

Anyways, Feena rocks! She's sooo cute, especially in her face pictures on the dialogue window. Nice character.

It seems to be from a Grandia 1 postcards (like those of Grandia 2). The funny thing is that she's supposedly underage, I wonder how come puritans didn't bomb Game Arts HQ for that, LOL.
