Technically, Rei didnt 'died'. I just dont like how Shinji didnt do shit until the end, even when seeing Asuka getting eaten alive. That, the fact that Misato and Ritsuko died, Asuka was eaten alive after being skewered by spears, and indefinite explaination to the ending. =/

But by theend of the series, Iw as hating Ritsuko anyways so, her death wasnt' a big deeal
