Evidently, the PS2 ToS is crappy compared to GCN.

Background resolution is lowered, characters are blockier, and the frame rate's been lowered from 60 FPS-30 FPS. Also, battles evidently take 6 seconds to load, and loading from the memory card=slow as hell.

i know but atleast i can play it, its just like G2, it sucked like hell on PS2 but that wasnt gonna stop me =P

Star Ocean III shows the limitations of the PS2. Its a great game, but there are occasions of lag, and random loading sequences. Xhell's version even crashed at one point. Apparantly it was worse for the japanese when they had it loaded on to a dual-layered disc, as older PS2 versions couldnt cope with the layer transition and people couldnt progress through the game.
