Situation: Your characters are all United States Airforce Intelligence officers. Your mission has been to fly the latest comunications interception aircraft over sensitive areas in China to keep the CIA up with the play. Shortly before 5am local time an unknowen piece of Chinese equipment manages to disrupt the electronics on the plane, and you are forced to ditch in a field in the northern provences of China. You are about half way in between the borders to Mongolia and North Korea, and about 300km South of the Russian border.

Characters have the following equipment (each):
2 litres of bottled water
1 Utility knife with blade, screw drivers, can opener, saw and bottle opener.
1 .45 USP hand gun with a single 12 round magazine
1 Encripted UHF walkie talkie, effective range of 5 km on open terrain
Food rations to last 4 days

Between the group, you have:
1 Satellite phone
1 Hard drive of gathered intelligence. THIS ITEM MUST BE PROTECTED AT ALL COSTS.
1 GPS navigation system, requires new antenna which was damaged in crash.
1 Pair of binoculars.
1 extensive Medical kit
1 Claymore mine and required kit to rig for remote or tripwire.

One person in the group is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and Russian. You can decide who.

One person who can fly all civilian aircraft and some millitary craft, all civilian helecopters. You decide who, but can't be the language man.

Each team member can pick 6 personal items to take with them. The rules for these items are that they must exist in present day real life, they must be able to be carried easily by the person, and only one item per person may be a weapon or firearm (ignoring the side arm already mentioned). You must list all 6 items in your first post, any that are considered suspect may come under scrutiny. 6 items only, and the plane has burned so you can't recover any additional items from it, other than some hot scrap metal. Items carried by the group do not need to be counted as part of your 6 items, nor do any of the already given items like food and water.

So, get your group together and we will get started.
