Indeed, some of the artwork items are very nice. For instance the cloth covering the harp would appeal to Allie while the statue of Lunari would go well in the temple in Tindale or as a shrine centerpiece in Celene's home. If the silver dagger is a real weapon and not simply ornamental then it could be used against lycanthropes or other creatures harmed by silver.

As for the magical items, my first opinions:
The Belt of Giant Strength +4 should go to Thaylias. Celene has one already, and having both front line fighters as strong as possible with permanent Bull's Strength will make things a bit easier.

The cloak of Resistance should go to the character with the worst saving throws. The periapt of proof against poison probably should go to our primary healer, Oakshade: Allie has a necklace of adaptation which makes her immune to gaseous attacks and Celene's class ability grants her immunity to disease and good bonuses with saving throws, and can cure disease three times a day. Having at least one character of six immune to each of the three most damaging types of attacks will aid party survival quite a bit.

Anyone could use the cloak of displacement or the mantle of spell resistance, however while she wields the Holy Avenger, everyone in the party near her has SR 23 so one of those who tend to stay in the rear during fights, such as Shanti, Allie or Thurvold would be best served. Likewise, the displacement cloak will grant the wearer a large miss chance due to concealment which will work against most spells, ranged or melee attacks.

Either Kel or Celene would benefit best by the +5 shield: Thaylias' armor is already +5 and Kel's restricted to the types of armor he can wear but will incur a minor spell failure chance if he uses the shield.

The large longsword's already been sent to Kel's village as a trophy, and thus far the harp and elemental ring have been tentatively claimed by Bard and Psion respectively.

Should open the discussion nicely.

Kel will not lie. The girdle of giant strength sounds very appealing especially if the sword of Kantomar is going to be forcing him into melee with vampires, liches, deathknights etc.

That, and Barbosians have always admired raw strength. Though he would agree wht Thaylias should have first dibs on it since the sword/trophy was claimed for his people.

We cannot have a Barbos drooling! The other night after Christopher mentioned the main list of goodies I saw your in game post on Kel's wish for the girdle; I was about to reply in game that you should take it but my wife starting talking to me... well I went south from there.
Anyway, I just wanted to post real quick that its all Kel's.

OK, so Kel gets the belt of giant str +4.

Thus far:
Allie has the harp of charming and the cloth that covered it.

Celene has the shield +5 and the Lunari statuette.

Shanti has the ring of air elemental control.

Kel has the belt of giant strength +4.

What items (magical or not) appeal to Thaylias, Kel, Thurvold and Shanti, and even Oakshade?

Oakshade is not a greedy elf. He obviously wants a share in the wealth in hopes of buying better armor and a good shield, because his new role will be defense. His new spec is now a single level in mage (which may increase later), being a priest of the Magic Goddess, and 17 levels of Cleric. He dropped the fighter class, as it was redundant and forced him to always split his levels. Now he can spend more time healing, raising the dead, smiting undead, and other such endeavors, and if he is needed in combat, then his racial and Holy weapons allow him to do so.

He suggest that the Holy objects be displayed in the Talagon Holy places and the masterpiece paintings go in the Baron's Hall..or perhaps a gift to the king.

Any one art onject that seems suitable for him, he might keep as a momento. He will take only one magic item, and it will be what no one else wants.

Thaylias too is interested in a couple pieces of art. He has no desire for the cloak of displacement. He thinks that much could be gained for New Tindale with his share of the coin so his emphasis will be for that only.

Shanti would, aside from the ring, like the blue-white diamond. I'd mentioned her picking up a diamond in game, and the reason for this being it reminds her of the dragon.

Her only request is a small share of the spoils, otherwise she is very happy.

The loose gems alone, not counting the one Shanti is claiming, ought to be enough to pay for the various building projects (Temples, magic school, mine renovations) with much left over, and there's plenty of coin to pay the years' taxes of the town to the King as well as pay the New Tindale militia, servants, Silver Rider garrison, etc.

Remember our newfound henchmen, followers, retainers, and cohorts will need to be paid for their services.

There are still several magical items left to claim. A couple of which are worth quite a lot. (The Periapt of Proof against Poison sells for 27,000 gp by itself.) More than one character will end up with 2 magical items from this horde which may be the only major loot we get this level considering the gross worth.

Oakshade would find the Periapt Handy if no one else wants it. He will also take anything else that no one wants, but I would rather see the PC's get the loot. Those are all very good items, and it's hard to believe you aren't all fighting over them.

It is also conceivable that Nancy may be right about future treasure. If you are fighting monsters on the run or in major battlefield encounters, you won't likely be encountering hoards.

You also need to discuss who gets how much of the monetary loot, and what goes to the communities run by Thaylias and Kel. After all, it is workers from those societies who will be doing the hauling and transportation.

If no one comes forth with more requests, I will give it Nancy to work up the split as she usually does..in which case, no complaining if you think you didn't get what you were entitled to (:

Work it out folks.
