The BDD or The LPD? We've only had one game against the LPD this year with haysi vs. clintwood that ended with a spanking. Clintwood nearly beat burton and beat gate city stat wise but is this enough to say the BDD is better than the LPD this year based on one game in the early season?

as far as the top teams yes
as far as depth no the lpd is deep with 6 good teams
I think the tigers are both very good ball teams and could play with just about any lpd team in the last 5 years or so

Not sure where you got your info, but Clintwood didn't have better stats than GC. Gate City dominated them from start to finish.

I say GC will win region. Just my opinion. Would like to see our team but don't think they will.
Us and GC may be down this year but you don't count either of us out.

I think the BDD has a couple teams capable of winning the region. Trouble is right off they are playing each other! Coach Colley did a great job this year using all he had. Especially laying out his schedule. I wonder if he got a chance to see Honakers before he finalized his!! lol... It was amazing it all ended the way it did. Congradulations on all the pieces fitting. Honakers up graded schedule I think helped in the long run. Their schedule was tougher than Haysi's.It cost them home field in the end.
Home field is definately an advantage for Haysi. The honaker kids have played against some big teams in Tazewell, Va High and Abingdon. I think physically they will be ready. But, Honaker had better not let the red tigers hang around..
I pick the tigers.
best of luck go all the way!!
More beer bartender!! lol

Interesting you mentioned Abingdon as part of Honaker's tough schedule...they are terrible to put it mildly...Grundy only beat Va school all year and it was a blowout win against none other than Abingdon.
