Lance Compton has to be the 2nd team QB...anything else would be uncivilized.

I mainly agree with redseals pics except for a few. For example I doubt Shane Justice would get the POY award over Haysi and Honaker's backs. Twin Valley's running back was also really good but you can't really tell because of the team he plays for. Ryan Jones definitely taking both spots at LB and FB. QB I would have to go with Andrew Bostic as well as Lance Compton because he really stepped it up this year. WR's I agree and TE I might have to go with Honaker's TE #81. I don't really remember his name but he impressed me. Josh Yates definitely on OL and DL as well as Josh Edwards at the Center poisition. Brandon Barton will probably take punter as well as maybe safety. I might seem bias'd as many of my picks are from Honaker and Haysi, but obviously they can play and deserve all district as they demolished the other 2 teams in the district. As for the rest I'm really not sure haven't saw enough of them to decide.

I think it is going to have a lot to do with the play-offs as far as how all-district and all region will go, but other than a few kids (very few) from Twin Valley and Hurley, the fist and second team should be dominated souly by Honaker and Haysi athletes. Especially at the skilled positions.

If the BDD had a Heisman Trophy it would go to Andrew Bostic.
The Butkus Award would go to Ryan Jones.
The Outland Trophy would belong to Josh Yates.
The Doak Walker Award would go to Shane Justus.
The Davey O'Brien Award would go to Lance Compton.
The Biletnikoff Award goes to Josh Wallace.
The Bednarik Trophy would also go to Ryan Jones.
The Jim Thorpe Award goes to Matt Hayes.

QB-Bostic and Lance Compton
RB- Shane Justice and Wyatt Justus
FB-Ryan Jones
WR- Josh Wallace and the two Honaker guys
I thought Chad Barton looked good in Haysi's secondary and so did Zach Counts. Ryan might get offensive POY and Josh Yates get defensive though.

I'm sorry but I honestly think you guys are giving Shane Justice wayyyyyyyy too much credit. If he was anything at all, granted Haysi and Honaker's lines dominated theirs, he would have at least done something vs them. I mean it's not that hard to look good vs like little league teams from west virginia or kentucky as Hurley played most of the season. POY for defense goes to Josh Yates hands down POY for offense I would have to go with Andrew Bostic because honestly the kid can be amazing with his speed and ability.

I could have rushed for 1500 against the teams hurley played. I didn't see one player on TV or Hurley that deserved to be on an all BDD team honestly. I think all district RB should be filled by any of the haysi RB's since they've been the dominant runners. QB should go to Bostic even though he doesn't have that great of an arm. WR is rough because I wasn't impressed with Honakers WR's but I only saw them play once. I think either Josh or Cody would make good all district picks. Josh Yates deserves offensive and defensive lineman of the year but he'll probably only get one of them.
All Disrict teams are a joke. The best players don't get voted into the right positions. If you took all the players from all the schools and put them on one team the outcome of starting positions would be completely different.
