Last nite the Haysi Tigers defeated the Twin Valley Panthers in girls basketball. The score was 40-30. The Tigers start 3 freshman with one playing a key role off of the bench. So it is looking good for the future of Haysi Girls Basketball. Good luck to the girls in District and Regionals.

The girls really steped it up last night after the first quarter. Wood was all over the Panthers on defense with Compton driving the ball up the middle quite a number of times on Offense. All and all it was a great game with great involvment of the fans. All I gotta say is go Tigers lets keep it up!

It was a great game much like the meeting between the 2 teams that same week. Crowd support for both teams was amazing most I have seen in a girls game in a long time.

I agree, it was an excellent game. The fan support was amazing. Both teams played great. These two teams have played 3 good games this year, and there might be a 4th game at the Black Diamond District Tournament. Good Luck to both teams!

I have to hand it to Haysi. They always produce great talent. 3 Freshmen and they win the BDD crown, maybe a state crown in the future for Haysi? Maybe.

I also agree that Haysi did an excellent job and they deserve everything because they have earned it. The other teams in the BDD are jealous of them but they worked for everything this year and i can't think of a team that deserved it more.
ROCK ON TIGERS!

I don't think anyone is jealous of talent. They may be jealous of the fact that the Lady Tigers are the BDD Champs, I'll give you that, but any true winner would be jealous of any crown they don't hold. Everyone from my perspective in the Black Diamond praises talent and praises teams along in playoffs no matter if their home team is out or whatever.
