Powers and Joe Yates look to be a step quicker.

Fleming (The QB) throws a NICE ball and Haysi should not se as big a drop off at that position as was thought.

#42 at LB this season is better than #42 last season was

OLine still has work to do but did look good.

    Defence Looked Great

Haysi looks capable of knocking off Honaker again to win the BDD

I thought coming into the year that Honaker would be the favorite. Not so sure now. I think Haysi may have something for them. Hard to tell though until the Clintwood game because Grundy is so bad. It's hard to believe their program has fallen off so dramatically. They are only 2-3 years removed from region IV powerhouse status.

i also thought honaker would be a favorite but i seen them against clnwd and opening with lebanon and if the defense dont step up they will have a long long season.secondary just absolutley to slow and when they did get the opportunity to make good tackles ,they didnt.good luck this season to the bdd folks.

The strange thing about Grundys drop off was how dang quick it happened 1 year they are the Div 3 cream of the crop the next with many of the stars from the previous year they absolutely sucked

At least they are sucking this year WITH young players so there is hope that they may be better days ahead

As far as Honaker goes they will be fine after they get through this Friday (Richlands) I was surprised with there passing numbers vs Lebanon IMHO if Honaker can get a semi dangers passing game to go with Ball and the running game they will be tough to stop

Yeah that would've been the 2005 season that they had several veterans back from the 9-1 team in '04 and just laid eggs all year.
