Don't get up caught up in all the overanalysis from last night's game between the Cavs and the Pistons first conference finals game. When your team reaches the conference finals and all the television attention is on your series because there are no other series in your conference, the game will get overanalyzed to death.

It's pretty clear that the Cavs improved more than the Pistons since last years playoff series against the Pistons, and the Pistons improved with the addition of Webber, but the Cavs got better with the addition of Pavolic, and Z being used more.

So just enjoy the series and don't get bent over all the overanalyzing that is going on, it's just not worth it because it truly does take the fun out of watching the Cavs play.

Lebron was going for the WIN at the end of game one, NOT the tie, and that is why he dished off to Donyell for a three rather than take a layup which only would have tied the score, and I agree with that strategy. I just wish Donyell hadn't been so close to the baseline when he shot, that tough angle caused the ball to bounce up court and with one key tip suddenly the Pistons are headed down the court on a fast break.

The television analysts flip flop on a game by game basis when it comes to whether Lebron should dish or not to his teammates. When his teammates connect, Lebron is a genius for dishing off, when his teammates don't make the shots, Lebron is called someone who isn't leading correctly. It's all sound and fury that you should not let affect the most important thing, we have Lebron James on OUR team, and we are in the conference finals.

Enjoy!
