Is there such a thing as a second spring training in baseball?

Will Jhonny Peralta practice his relay throws from shallow left field to home? Will Franky G develop a second slide, one in which he doesn't slide with his upper body erect so he's easily taggable by the second baseman even when he's actually beaten the throw to second on a steal attempt?

Can Grady and Travis easily defeat the shift when it is put on them? Can Jhonny do a slightly better job moving one runner over from second when there are no outs?

Why did Mr. Gomez disappear from the picture? Is he our luxury reserve player, if so, why isn't he getting some type of playing time.

If Trot is selected to the playoffs, shouldn't he get some pinch hit at bats? Do we have to get behind in so many games?

Are we the best team in baseball, except for Boston and New York? If so, will the Indians find time to review all the plays that New York consistently made during the years, from taking the extra base to all kinds of little things that seemed to show they had a savvy vet presence that we do not have?

This is one of the strangest good teams I can recall. They seem to know how to win, the pitching is strong enough, the team plays well enough, and it appears if we don't completely get throttled early in a game, and just stay close, we should always have a chance to win and perhaps every game will be bring a new hitting hero.
