If you notice the Indians had quite a few what might be called "fringe" players on the "list". These are players that needed every edge just to survive and hang on in major league baseball.

I don't have a problem with the types of players who just hang on taking a supplement. It's the guys that lead the league in different offensive and pitching categories and take the illegal supplements that deserve 99% of our scorn.

The ones who get the 15 million dollar payday or break long standing records, those are the guys who abused the system above and beyond any level of forgiveness. If a ballplayer has to cheat by taking a supplement, just cheat to get by, don't cheat to become super rich or a role model or someone who steals the limelight by breaking a record or making the All Star Game.

Having said that, major league rosters need to be expanded to 26 or 27 players so there is a more level playing field for the established vet and the less dimensional but still talented players who are always just one step away from being a supporting cast type of major league ballplayer, but who can't be placed on the team because there are just not enough positions on the Major league roster.
